Career Opportunity: Startup and Service Engineer

SBA mechatronics GmbH is a leading company in the field of roll grinding and special mechanical engineering located in Weikersdorf, Lower Austria. We are looking for a proactive and flexible electrical startup and service engineer to strengthen our team.

Our start-up and service engineers operate at our customers’ sites. Therefore, they play an important role for to client relationship during projects and the follow. Our Siemens based SBA Grinder Control in conjunction with high-end hardware presents an interesting and continuously growing opportunity for committed control engineers. Travelling to exotic locations and discovering new is another plus for our field engineers.

Your Responsibilities

• Participation in the planning and design stage of
  CNC roll grinding machines and CNC machine tools
• Burn-in test of CNC roll grinding machines and
  CNC machine tools at SBA premises
• Strong programing skills of controls in SIMATIC S7
• Good knowledge of CNC machines (milling and turning)
  is an advantage
• Start-up of CNC roll grinding machines
  and CNC machine tools worldwide
• Enrollment of customer personnel
• Support, service and maintenance of our products
• Trouble shooting hot-line via Internet

Your profile

• Completed technical education in electrical engineering / Automation / Mechatronics (HTL / FH / or technician with relevant experience)
• Job experience in special machinery is an advantage
• Good knowledge in electrical engineering (PLC programming, visualization, start-up)
• Good understanding of CNC machines (SINUMERIC)
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic are ideal
• Driving license and car are an advantage
• Very high willingness to travel; worldwide missions (including long-term, ~60 days)
• Flexibility regarding working time and location
• Good English skills and additional language skills are an advantage
