After two successful revamping projects at voestalpine, we proudly anounce the receipt of another order for a complete modernization of the HSM WR roll grinder WS1400.
The preceding projects were a HSM BUR roll grinder WS1800 and an Innse HSM WR roll grinder.

Following the very successful startup of their SBA Roll Grinder in Nansha (Guangzhou, China), Voith’s board of management recently decided to order another brand new grinding machine for Voith Paper Rolls Kunshan.
An extraordinary bed length of 18000 mm will provide a Z-axis travel distance of more than 15000 mm at a maximum speed of 7000 mm/min.
The new SBA Roll Grinder will be able to grind rolls up to 15000 mm overall length, grinding face length of 13000 mm and 3000 mm diameter at 100 to maximum weight. These giant rolls will be used in the latest paper machine projects in China.
The grinder will be equipped with our proven hydrostatic motor spindle for the grinding wheel. Linear guide-ways together with a 2-piece Hydropol bed allow smooth running and precision of 1 µm/m.

PT Optima Enviro Resources, Indonesia, placed an order with SBA for a complete modernization of their Voith roll grinder which is located at PT Kertas Nusantara, East-Kalimantan, Indonesia.
SBA Roll Shop Solutions has already successfully upgraded a large number of Voith roll grinders of the same kind. The machine has been originally installed in 1996 and will be equipped with the latest SIEMENS CNC control and drive system.

Hansol EME, South Korea has just ordered a new 13m roll grinder from SBA Roll Shop Solutions. The contract was signed on June 21st 2010. Our innovative technology, decade-long experience in the paper industry and the very short and challenging delivery time of only 14 months were the main decision-factors.
Our SBA roll grinder is an important part of the An Hoa Coated Paper Project and will be installed in Vinh Loi Commune, Son Duong District, Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam.
