Carriage Z-axis drive
Our z-axis drive (longitudinal) sets new standards for roll grinders. No complicated and expensive mechanical solutions for a backlash and positioning of the wheel carriage are found in SBA applications.
SBA relies on innovative technology using a duo drive system and an electric spindle. This solution is not only maintenance free but also very convenient, economical and offers maximum positioning facilities and absolutely smooth moving characteristics. Through these properties, the reworking of micro-grooves and the production of all types of special groove is completely safe and accurate possible. Even the editing of tapered bearings, seats, threads and grooves can be now in an excellent quality.
